This article refers to a letter sent to the Guardian by 60 climate alarmists, only a few are scientists. The letter includes this quote:
"We will no longer debate those who deny that human-caused climate change is real. There are plenty of vital debate to be had around climate chaos and what to do about it."
But why should they stop discussion simply by refusing to engage? The answer for the media is to simply have a discussion without them. If they see sceptics being given a free run they would soon change their attitude. Despite the demands of alarmists there are still many areas where debate is vital, such as the degree of warming, the role of negative feedbacks such as clouds, etc.
